Q. What will BK1 cost?

The BK1 software will be free to download and use. You will be able to setup accounts, enter transactions, prepare invoices, import bank data and prepare business reports, all for free.

Invoices and reports generated by FreeBK1 will have a small message from us saying you are using the free version.

Purchasing the premium version of BK1 will allow you to remove our message and customize your invoices and reports. The price of BK1 premium has not been established yet.

There will be a small monthly charge for using our PDF conversion and transaction matching service ($5 - $10 per month)

Q. Is BK1 ready for me to use today?

Sorry, but BK1 is not ready for you to use. Our development is at dogfooding stage (we are using BK1 internally for our own accounts).

You can download the latest build of BK1 to take a look at here, but be aware, we may be making changes before the public beta version is released.

Q. Is BK1 accurate

Yes. Because we import data directly from bank statement PDFs, we are able to automatically reconcile the imported transactions against the statement's opening and closing balances.

Q. Will I be able to copy my data from BK1 to other bookkeeping software packages?

Yes, it will be possible to import and export to MYOB, QuickBooks and MS Excel.

Q. Is BK1 the right bookkeeping software for me?

BK1 will have all the features you need and none you don't if you are a one person business or micro business.
